I am a mother of three boys and work as an Education Assistant with those students who need that extra help. I myself lived with Epilepsy for over 20 years before undergoing neurosurgery that cured me from having seizures. Since my surgery I have written three books about my experiences with seizures and how I overcame epilepsy with surgery. The surgery was called, Left Selective Amygdalahippocampectomy.

My passion has always been to help others, whether it is through my work or volunteering; being a positive community member helps everyone! I wrote this latest book, The UNSTOPPABLE BOY with Down Syndrome, because of a particular young boy, one that I have the absolute pleasure of working with every day at school. His name is Teejay Hogan. Teejay has made me see that kindness is the answer to everything. We wrote this book together in school, it started off as a Language Arts assignment, then we both thought, why not write a book about our amazing days at school. So we did just that. I hope you enjoy our fun day at school and that you experience a few giggles and smiles as well.
